Cosmetic Dentistry

 

Cosmetic Dentistry is not a specialty within dentistry. Every dentist should try to achieve the most beautiful smile for the patient. That being said, cosmetic dentistry is part of every practice. We want to make sure that our fillings look as natural as possible to limit the appearance of dental work.

Treatments

Diastema (gap of the teeth) - could be corrected by bonding, veneers, or ortho treatment. All of which are provided at Northshore Dentistry. 

Tooth Whitening - can be done in the office with a 1 hour appointment or a take home kit can be purchased. This take home does not require an impression. It is easily used at home by way of a hydrogen peroxide light activated device. 

Crowding/overlapped teeth - orthodontics is provided with the availability of invisalign. For those interested in tooth alignment and smile correction we can work directly with the lab using our scanning technology.

Chipped Teeth - Can easily be corrected with bonding procedure and for more involved cases with a veneer if needed.
